The worst way to drink absinthe? Yes! The most efficient way to drink absinthe? Absolutely!

Just a reminder, updates are on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month.

Casscade is the guest artist for this arc, here is her DeviantArt page!

"Being Hemingway musta been the PITS."

Hemingway thought so, too. :(

Out of literally all possible lives on Earth, I prrrrobably wouldn't choose that specific one to aspire to, but hey!

Your drawing style has gotten so good, I love the way you draw hands, and the linework is so good.

Also, you should flag your comic for drug use!! ;P

Haha thank you, but these past two pages have actually been drawn by a guest artist, the wonderful Casscade!! I hope to have as clean lineart as her someday, she is a wizard :'O

Also I should DEFINITELY flag my comic for drug use, look at that blatant alcohol consumption!! Disgusting!

That was the impression I got reading Dave Sim's scholar squirrel stuff on Hemingway in the back of Form And Void (which, sadly, was the best part of that graphic novel).

Honestly all of my Hemingway knowledge comes from the internet, but yeah, not a real happy guy!

I had to read “Snows of Kilimanjaro” for a student class, and I can say, it was one of the most depressing things I ever read.

Only beat out by F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Babylon Revisited, which left me feeling miserable. I don’t recommend either.

By all accounts, Fitzgerald and Hemingway were both pretty miserable dudes!

"Each sip of this stuff brings me closer to being Hemingway..." for a second there I thought "this stuff" was actually a magical potion. It's probably what Faustus thinks, anyway.

Also those backgrounds are amazing.

I mean, absinthe does kind of look like a magical potion (or drain cleaner) so it's understandable!

And thanks, it's so nice being freed up from my lineart duties so I can focus on making the backgrounds as good as possible!
