Thus ends the saga of Faustus's novel-writing adventure. I hope you enjoyed it, I know I sure did! Collaborating with Casscade was a delight and a lifesaver. Without her dedicated effort, I hardly would have been able to put out any strips at all over the past months. Thank you, Cass! It's so cool to be able to finally read this storyline front to back in one go!

Please let me know in the comments section whether you like this longer-form sort of plot. I will be returning next Saturday to post some concept art Cass drew at the start of the project, and the NEXT Saturday I'll be back to posting my own strips - some non-Faustus, non-Rosa stuff, thank goodness, I'm rather done with these two for now.

Yeah I really liked this story! And I think the longer plot gives you something to anticipate for next time. So I will also say thank you to Casscade for making this story possible, because it was a blast to read!

This was an enjoyable read all the way through, and Casscade's art is amazing. I've had her do a few things here for me as well in my comic.

Keep up all the awesome work, the both of ya!

Of course, if he's really addicted to writing, he'll be back.

Did Hemingway & Voltaire write hard-boiled detective stories? Funny choice to go with if you're aiming for those writers. Kind of like writing a romance and lamenting you're not as good as Edgar Allan Poe. ;-)

Nah, those were just the all-around "great" writers he mentioned at the very start of this story so I figured I'd bring things full circle! Looking back I probably should have gone with Dashiell Hammett or Raymond Chandler, although I'm not sure those have the same kind of name recognition.

Oh noooo, I'll never be a god of writing like Voltaire, I must be a loser!

But seriously, though, I loved this comic! Your humorous style of writing works for longer comics as well as short ones, and Casscade's art is a joy to look at.

Waaaa thank you!! So glad you liked it!
Of course, everyone knows that writing skill exists in a strict dichotomy, you are either literally Voltaire or you are literally trash and there is no in between

noooo this story is done.

It took months, but it only felt like weeks, somehow. I definitely like longer stories in Awkward Paws. Are you going to write one about Will's father someday? :)

So yeah, great job, Taily and Cass!

Thank you! Actually YES, I have a story about Will's dad that I really want to draw, it's all plotted out and everything... I just need to make it into a script with jokes 'n' stuff! :O
